Angel R. Rodriguez Sr. was born Bayamon, Puerto Rico August 29, 1954. He started playing drums at the age of 9. First payed gig at the age of 13. Musician, singer, poet, composer, arranger, actor, ensemble comedian, producer and educator. For the past 45 years Angel R. Rodriguez Sr. has dedicated himself to preserving and maintaining Puerto Rico’s rich musical culture.
