just wondering what the difference between Santana supernatural congas and galaxy congas might be? I can see that the hardware on the Santana congas is not as heavy duty. Is there much difference in shell construction?

many thanks for your most kind words much appreciated.

Afraid clinics thin on the ground here in Norway.
small country 4.8 million folk approx.

I live in the wilds..and would have to travel a long way so think my best approach once I sort out which percussion items to buy,is to have live online lessons via web cam e.t.c.

Would value your opinion on this form of teaching?
it would give me a routine I so desperately need..

all the very best Steve

Hi Steve,

Congratulations for taking the first steps to learn how to play percussion! I am sure it will benefit your health in many ways. To get started please visit our Lessons section:
http://lpmusic.com/Play_Like_A_Pro/index.html

Unfortunately we are not at liberty to share artists email addresses. However you can contact the distributor in your area and they may be able to find a clinic in your area.

Hello From Norway,
I would love to attend any clinic but I very much would like to attend Giovanni's..but not possible I'm afraid living this side of the pond.

I am 55 and just really strarting out in percussion. The main reason is to improvemy mental and physical health which is not good at all! Playing will give me focus, excitement, above all motivation.

I have loved had percussion all my life..and am trying to put together a percussion set up with the help of LP and other great folks.

I am thinking of CONGA`S as the center piece+TIMBALE+DJEMBE+COWBELLS e.t.c. just to give variety and spice. I am only intending to be a very enthusiastic hobbyist! Doing this could keep me from going under?! This is so important to me, wish I had done this years back.

I know it is probably not the done thing...but is at all possible to contact great musicians like Giovanni? it would be great just to get a reply from them.

Anyway all my best wishes to all @ LP and the wider percussion family...
