Greetings all!! We just arrived in sunny and warm Anaheim (a nice break from frigid NJ) ready to set up the LP booth. Walking onto the show floor I expected to see nothing more than a carpet on the floor covered with boxes of new products and unopened shipping crates. Imagine my surprise to see the all boxes stacked neatly on the side of the booth, the shipping crates emptied and the bulk of the booth structure up and in place. I will post some pictures and video of the empty booth tomorrow. As we continue to set up I will continue to post the progress to give you an idea of how the magic of a trade show is created. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!!
Stay tuned here for coverage of the great events we have planned for the show as well. We have some killer artists in town who will make appearances at the booth.
- Thursday the incomparable Giovanni Hidalgo will stop by.
- Friday finds Armando Peraza and 14 other Latin greats congregating for an autograph session, and undoubtedly a jam session, at 12 noon.
- Carlos Santana will stop by the booth at 2:30 on Friday to unveil our new LP Aspire Carlos Santana Abraxas Angel Congas and Bongos.
- Saturday finds Mike Portnoy, Joey Castillo, Karl Perazzo, Ron Powell and Bashiri Johnson hanging out and signing autographs at 1PM.
- Saturday night is the culmination of the CoverBand 2010 contest. The seven individual winners have joined together to form a band and will perform at the Anaheim Hilton at 8pm. Our good friend Karl Perazzo will serve as the Musical Director.
We will be putting up coverage, including pictures and video, of all these events and more.
