Rhani Krija Performs with Sting at St. John the Divine Cathedral

Hello! My name is Rhani Krija, and I am a world percussionist and LP artist. I’ve had the pleasure of playing percussion for many world-renowned artists, including Sting. I recently performed an exciting show entitled, “A Winter’s Night: Sting In Concert” at St. John the Divine Cathedral in New York City on December 8th and 9th. The shows were in celebration of Sting’s new, critically acclaimed release If On a Winter’s Night… The concerts featured an ensemble of 35 musicians, including string and brass sections and special guest, trumpeter Chris Botti. The compositions we performed evoked the mood and spirit of the season with a diverse collection of songs, carols, and lullabies spanning the centuries, including two original songs written by Sting. Of course, I had my full array of LP percussion gear there, and the event was taped for television. I also had the opportunity to perform with fellow LP artist, percussionist Cyro Baptista. I was very honored to be a part of this special show, and I hope that those who saw it enjoyed it as much as I did.
